Photovoltaic Project – Project Phases

This page outlines the development and delivery phases of the I.C. Brătianu Photovoltaic Project. The phased approach supports controlled risk management, predictable capital deployment, and structured progression from development to long-term operation.

Phase 1 – Site Identification & Feasibility

Initial project activities focus on site identification, land consolidation, and preliminary feasibility assessments. These activities establish the technical, commercial, and regulatory viability of the project.

Phase 2 – Permitting & Development

This phase includes environmental assessments, planning approvals, and grid connection authorisations. Detailed technical studies and stakeholder engagement are undertaken to support regulatory compliance.

Phase 3 – Ready-to-Build (RTB)

Upon completion of key permits and technical design, the project reaches Ready-to-Build status. At this stage, procurement planning and construction preparation are finalised.

Phase 4 – Construction & Commissioning

Construction includes site preparation, installation of photovoltaic systems and battery storage infrastructure, grid integration, and commissioning. This phase culminates in commercial operation.

Phase 5 – Operations & Optimisation

Following commissioning, the project enters long-term operation. Performance monitoring, maintenance, and optimisation activities ensure reliable energy delivery and asset longevity.

This phased structure supports transparent project management and provides clarity for investors and stakeholders at each stage of development.
